Death of a killjoy- Contest Prize

this is a prize for she won 's SING contest this is her Killjoy Oc Oxy monotonous. She said that oxys dad died. something about that concept stuck out to me so i visioned this.

Oxy and her father were meeting a group of killjoys (maybe for supplies, or intel of the killjoy resistance) Suddenly they are ambushed by BL/ind. Helicopters, squads of soldiers, the works. Oxys father along with the others fight admirably but he is fatally wounded along with the others. Oxy manages to drag him away, escaping under the cover of smoke and battle. She finds a cave/burrow in a large boulder and takes cover there, trying desperately to stop the bleeding of her fathers wound. Shes using her headband as a compress, but its to late and he passes on. She takes his jacket afterwards, and his raygun. not able to get his body back to their home (for BL/ind is combing the desert for survivors/wounded) she buries him in the cave.
but ya this is just my take on it. This isnt how it happened xD but gave me some creative freedom
